Integrity in Every Clean: Caring for Your Home Like It’s Our Own.

Professional Dryer Vent Cleaning: The Ram Air Difference

At DKB Restoration, we treat your home like our own.  Discover why your neighbors trust us for a deeper, safer clean. We use advanced high-pressure air to protect your family and get your dryer running like new again.

Is Your Dryer Working Harder Than You?

Doing the "Double Dry? If you’re constantly restarting the dryer because your towels are still damp, it’s not your machine’s fault—it’s likely just a hidden clog. DKB can help it get back to one-and-done!

A Little Too Toasty: Your laundry room should stay cool and comfy. If it’s starting to feel like a sauna or your dryer is hot to the touch, it’s just a sign that the hot air has nowhere to go.

The "No-Wave" Vent: Next time you’re outside, take a peek at your vent. If those little flaps aren't "waving" while the dryer is on, your airflow is stuck and just needs a friendly hand to get moving again.

That "Musty" Smell: If your fresh laundry has a faint "toasty" or musty scent, it’s usually just lint hiding in spots you can't see. We’ll clear it out so your clothes stay smelling fresh.

Long-Term Reliability: A clean vent protects the sensitive sensors and heating elements inside your dryer. We help your machine last as long as possible, so you don't have to deal with a surprise breakdown.

The Ram Air Difference: Deeper Clean, Total Safety

Did you know that clogged dryer vents are a leading cause of household fires and high energy bills? At DKB Restoration, we don’t just "brush" the surface. We use the advanced Ram Air system to provide a deeper, safer clean that traditional methods simply can’t match.

Safe & Non-Abrasive: We use high-pressure air instead of harsh brushes, cleaning thoroughly without risking damage to your delicate vent walls.

Navigates Tight Turns: Our compact system easily glides through the complex twists and long runs of your home or business ventilation.

Reverse-Blast Technology: Powerful air jets pull lint and debris backward out of the house for a complete extraction you can see.

Maximum Airflow & Efficiency: By deep-cleaning the entire vent, we restore your dryers performance, significantly reducing your drying times and power bills.

Expert Fire Prevention: We effectively remove the highly flammable lint buildup that others leave behind, giving your family total peace of mind.

Dryer Fire Prevention: Is Your Home at Risk?

While a clogged dryer vent clearly spikes your utility bills, the greater danger is hidden. The U.S. Fire Administration reports that thousands of structural fires are caused by dryer lint every year. At DKB Restoration, we believe you shouldn't be a statistic. Today, you can take a simple, professional step to protect your home from this preventable threat.

Additional Care for Unique Layouts

In most cases, our standard cleaning rate covers everything! However, every home is built differently. If your layout requires a little extra "heavy lifting" or navigating tricky spaces, the following one-time fees help us ensure the job is done safely and thoroughly:

  • Attic or Crawl Space Access ($50): If your vent line runs through a crawl space or attic that requires entry for a full inspection or cleaning, this fee covers the specialized safety gear and extra time needed to work in these confined areas.

  • Appliance Access & Care ($25): If we need to professionally move your dryer to reach a stubborn blockage, this fee allows us to take the extra time and care necessary to protect your floors and safely disconnect/reconnect your unit.

Proactive Safety: When to Schedule Your Dryer Vent Service

Keeping Your Family Safe and your Home Running Smoothly Across Thurston and Lewis Counties.

Regular maintenance is the single most important step in protecting your family from the hidden fire hazards from lint buildup.

While DKB Restoration generally recommends an annual cleaning for most households, your home may need more frequent attention to stay safe and efficient.

Which Maintenance Schedule is Right for You?

Manufacturer standards recommend a professional clean once a year, but your home’s 'lifestyle' might require a little more attention. Check our guide below to find your perfect fit.

Standard Household: Every 12 Months

Ideal for 1–2 residents performing 2–3 loads of laundry per week with a standard vent run (under 15 feet)

Pets & Large Families: Every 6–9 Months

Ideal for 3–5 residents (or shedding pets) performing 4–5 loads per week  with vent runs between 15–25 feet.

Large Households & Long Vent Run: Every 6 Months

Ideal for 5+ residents performing 7–8+ loads per week, or any home where the vent exceeds 15 feet.

Beyond the Fuzz: Why Your Screen Needs a Proper Washing

We get this question all the time: "I don't use dryer sheets or fabric softener, so my screen stays clean as long as I peel the lint off, right?"

The short answer: Not quite!

To keep your home safe and your dryer efficient, your lint screen needs to be washed properly—not just emptied.

While dryer sheets are the biggest culprits for creating a waxy, invisible film, they are not the only ones. Even if you’re "team no-softener," your screen can still get "suffocated" over time. Here is why:

Invisible Soap & Mineral Film:

Every load of laundry carries a tiny amount of detergent and hard water minerals. As your clothes dry, these particles settle into the screen’s mesh, creating a thin, waxy barrier that blocks air just as much as a thick layer of lint.

Hidden Micro-Fiber Clogs:

Wiping the surface only goes so far. The smallest lint fibers can get driven deep into the tiny pores of the screen where your fingers can't reach. These "ghost clogs" stay behind, slowly choking off your dryer’s airflow and efficiency.

DKB's Friendly Advice:

Is It Actually Clogged?

Take your clean screen to the sink and run water over it. If the water pools on top instead of flowing straight through, your dryer is working twice as hard as it needs to!

The 30-Second Fix!

A 30-second scrub with warm, soapy water and an old toothbrush every few months will keep your dryer breathing easy between our professional deep-cleanings.
